About Sweet Aloha

Sweet Aloha is a family-, veteran- and Hawaiian-owned scoop shop in Davie, Florida, open since August 2021. We make small-batch ice cream by hand and serve authentic Hawaiian shave ice.

Our shave ice is the Best Shave Ice in Florida — Yelp Elites Pick 2025, and we’ve served hundreds of events across Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach. Yelp ranked us #19 in its 2023 Top 100 ice cream shops in the US.

Festival Food Catering FAQ

Can you handle a big festival crowd?

Yes. We plan for events from a few hundred guests to several thousand, with booth setups, trailer service or a custom package.

Do you have dairy-free options?

Yes. We bring non-dairy ice cream, plus kid-friendly, nut-free and dairy-free options. Shave ice add-ons include condensed milk and li hing mui. Call (954) 530-2231 to plan around your guests' needs.

Is there a minimum?

Events have a 1–2 hour minimum unless quoted. Off-site events where we sell to your guests (fundraisers, festivals): minimum sales guarantee, e.g. $500.

How much does catering cost?

Catering packages start at a $350 minimum booking. Your quote is built from guest count, product and service. Get a free quote for your exact number.

How do I book?

Send a quote request and we'll confirm your date is open. Your date is booked once we receive a signed contract and deposit. A request is not a booking, and dates are first-come, first-served.
